July Newsletter

Good Morning all,

We hope your summer has been fun and relaxing. We have been looking forward to the end of July and its here! We are heading out soon for our favorite place GRAND LAKE STREAM! We haven’t been in a while and can’t wait to get there. On the way we will be making a stop in Bucksport to visit Patty at BOLT! We will stay in Milbridge overnight and make a stop at CAMP WOOL and say hi to LeAnn too! Should be a great week away with wonderful friends great food and much needed sewing time.

The shop will be closed from Friday July 23 through August 3, 2021. We will be back in the shop Wednesday August 4 and look forward to seeing you all.

MARK YOUR CALENDAR ———AUGUST 28, 2021

11th ANNUAL QUILTER’S YARD SALE 9-2

We are changing it up this and have invited anyone who would like to join us to have a table at YARD SALE and clear out our own stash. We will have cloth Patterns, books etc and WOOL that we need to move to make more room for the new stuff! If you interested in a space, please call the shop for more details.

Fall fabrics and HALLOWEEN (Janet’s fav) and Christmas fabrics have started to arrive along with many new patterns and books. We have been getting samples and kits ready for anyone looking for inspiration or want to try something new. We have many new WOOL samples ( many thanks to Mary). Come see all the new quilts hanging thanks to the newest “have to have” book! 3 YARD QUILTS. Actually there’s 7 different ones all by same author. Fast, easy and several different quilts in each book. Of course we had to get them all. If you need a quick project one of these books is it.

Our regular classes are gathering again and it’s been a blessing to hear laughter and chatter again in the shop. We are missing some gals and enjoying new friends too. At the moment WEDNESDAY,THURSDAY AND FRIDAY GIRLS are full. However you can put your name on the wait list and we can always find space for another class if we have enough to fill one. Just let us know what day is best for you. If you are looking to try something new or brush up on a technique, take a look at the newest CLASS LIST. Lots of things are in the planning stages for the rest of this year and 2022 also. Yikes. Time flies when we are doing what we love…

Happy Stitching,

Annie & Mum

PS from Janet: my sincere appreciation for all the card, gifts and well-wishes from everyone as I got my new knee. Its great to have so many friends!
